Project Management

Strong project management is the defining competency of high-performing organisations and professionals. This program teaches participants to plan, execute, monitor, and close projects using internationally recognised methodologies, giving them the skills to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver results in any organisational context — NGOs, government agencies, or private sector companies.

Sessions alternate between short concept introductions and hands-on application: participants draft a project charter in week one, build a full schedule with a Gantt chart by week three, and run a mock project closure review in the final session. Every participant leaves with a personal toolkit of reusable templates — charter, risk register, stakeholder matrix — that they can adapt immediately to their next real project.

A typical week runs for two and a half hours: a 45-minute concept session followed by 90 minutes of group work on a shared case project, then a brief debrief where each group presents one decision they made and one risk they identified. The final assessment is a complete project plan for a self-chosen scenario — evaluated on scope clarity, schedule logic, and risk treatment. Graduates who want to formalise their credentials can use the program as a practical foundation before sitting the CAPM exam, and those entering the job market can present the final plan as a concrete work sample.
