Build a portfolio. Land clients. Work from anywhere.
Graphic design is one of the most in-demand digital skills globally, and freelance work makes it accessible from any location. This program takes participants from design fundamentals through professional client delivery, equipping them to earn income online within weeks of finishing. Tools covered include Canva and Adobe Photoshop, with a strong focus on social-media content and brand identity work.
Each week centres on a brief — a social-media post set, a brand identity for a fictional business, a print flyer — so trainees practice the full cycle of receiving a brief, sketching ideas, producing in Canva and Photoshop, and presenting the result for peer critique. The portfolio they build across those briefs is structured deliberately: a consistent body of work that reflects real client requests rather than tutorial exercises, which makes a stronger impression on freelance platforms and direct clients alike.
The final two weeks are dedicated to a capstone project chosen by each trainee: a complete brand identity for a business of their own selection, delivered as a presentation pack with logo files, a colour-and-type guide, and three mockup applications. This completed pack is the primary assessment piece and becomes the centrepiece of their portfolio on Khamsat, Mostaql, or any other freelance platform they choose to join after graduation.
Graduates leave with a live portfolio, active freelance profiles, and the client-handling skills to start generating online income immediately — directly addressing youth unemployment through a globally marketable skill. Graduates also develop a habits for receiving client feedback gracefully and revising work efficiently — the professional skill that separates repeat clients from one-off jobs.
