Essential Digital Skills

The baseline every modern employer expects — now in your hands.

Most jobs today — whether in an office, a startup, or a remote-first team — require confident use of productivity software, professional email, and collaboration tools. This program delivers exactly that baseline, bringing participants from hesitant users to competent digital employees ready for immediate hire or remote work.

Every session opens with a real workplace scenario — a document to draft, a spreadsheet to fix, an email thread to untangle — and participants work through it with instructor guidance before the concept is formalised. This task-first approach means trainees spend the majority of each session doing rather than listening. By the end of the program each participant has a personal digital-skills folder containing sample files they produced, ready to show an employer during an interview.

A typical week covers one core tool in depth: Monday-format sessions introduce the tool through a short demonstration, then participants complete two or three graded tasks independently while the trainer moves around to assist. The final session is a timed practical test — a combined document, spreadsheet, and email task completed without guidance — which serves as the completion assessment. Participants who pass can move into the graphic design or digital marketing programs, both of which assume the same foundational skills this program builds.

What you walk away with
