General & Occupational Safety

Build a culture of safety at home, in the workshop and on the job site.

Safe workplaces don’t happen by accident — they are built by people who know how to spot hazards before they become injuries. This program gives trainees a practical foundation in general and occupational safety: risk assessment, safe handling of tools and materials, fire prevention, and first response.

Designed for workshop environments, small production projects and entry-level industrial jobs, the program combines short theory sessions with hands-on drills so that safe practice becomes habit, not paperwork.

What you will learn

  • Identify and assess common workplace hazards
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly
  • Handle tools, equipment and materials safely
  • Apply fire-prevention basics and use an extinguisher
  • Respond to incidents with basic first-aid steps
  • Build simple safety checklists for a workshop or small project

What you walk away with

Graduates can apply safety fundamentals in any workshop or workplace, reducing risk for themselves and the people around them — a requirement increasingly asked for by employers.
